This is Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River on a summer morning with a rainbow in the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. A rainbow sometimes forms on still mornings in the summer time. This view is from Red Rock Point which is approximately 500 feet below the top of the north rim of the canyon.

I specialize in fine art nature photography, with particular emphasis on the U.S. west including Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. My goal in photographing the natural world is to overcome the inherent limitations of traditional photography to produce images with depth and perspective that artistically represent the beauty of our natural environment.
